There are 48 peaks in the White Mountains of New Hampshire that have an elevation of at least 4,000′ with a minimum of 200′ of prominence.

Thousands of hikers have hiked them all, fewer have completed the list in winter, and even fewer have completed the list in a single winter season.

This website, a companion site to 48×12, is dedicated to those who have done just that.
